Tourist Destinations Guam – Hafa Adai! My name is Luke Scott Fernández, who is known on Instagram as @lostwithlukes. I am 23 years old, born and grown on the island of Guam, which is located in micronesia, which is one of the three regions in the Pacific.
Life on a small island in the middle of the ocean inspires me to travel and see the rest of the world, even though traveling means going to a smaller neighboring island. I am inspired by the Pacific Islands, mainly because our cultures and ways of life are very different, but we are very close to each other.

There are no two identical islands. Each island has its own “gems” that are so unique that you will not find them anywhere else in the world. The islands also inspire my photo. We, as the Pacific Islanders, have such an extensive story and unique houses that major passengers often overlook.
5 Things To Do In Tumon, Guam
Guam is indescribable to me. The answer I always give to people when I ask me how to describe my home is Guam Guam. Beaches, sunrise, sunset, waterfalls, mountains, culture and people are not like the others. Every time I leave Guam to travel abroad, I always want to go home.
What I like most about GUAME is that it’s my home. Although the island is small, there is a lot to do. The advice and sunsets will never be exhausted or floated in the ocean. I am grateful for being far from the world. I am very grateful that I can swim with sea turtles every day.
The island is unique and if you are traveling to Guam, I recommend renting a car, because public transport is not so good. Although the island is small, the country is pretty mountainous and everything is separated, so walking or riding a bike is not the best way to move and see views.
My trips around Guam are not so complete compared to others who visit the island. I think it is very similar to many locals. Because I lived in Guam, I still have to finish a lot of walks. Because I’m from here, it’s one of those things “I’ll come later.”

I would say that I only examined half the island. However, the places I examined were impressive. They will never stop surprise or remember how beautiful my home is. Some of the places that are on my desire list are Falls, Mount Lam Lam, Cocos Island and Blue Hole.
Travel Council: If you explore Guam, always bring more clothes, towels, shoes (flip flops) and if you see the local “mom and pop shop”, stop and buy local snacks. They are usually in front of the registration area.
My favorite places in GUAME are near the ocean. The ocean has always been my second home and in the last year my teacher has been. It helps me to understand the importance of protection and love for living beings.
I am often in the water, whether you dive free to swim with turtles or paddleboard to see dolphins. The ocean is my number one pitch. So, if you like the ocean, just as I will love these ten activities and experiences in Guam, which mostly rotate in the ocean.

Pop’s Bakeshop in Agat has not only one of the best rolls of cream cheese on the island, but also serves rolls with regular cheese and cream cheese! I recommend waking up at 5:00 and go to Agat to take a box of sweets. You can always exercise fired later on your way!
Crown Bakery in Mangilao has the best fresh donuts on the island. Be sure to get glazed donuts and go between 6:00 and 20:00. At 18:00 again will swim, walk and go to Guama, so you don’t feel so bad when you give a donut or two!

Food is an integral part of the local culture here in Guam. It is something that connects us all, be it meetings, small parties, birthdays, holidays or even city parties. Food in Guam is different with Chamorra, Korean, Japanese and American, as well as other influences.
But local food will be the best food you have! In local culture, meat, rice, fish and vegetables are the basic element in terms of diet. The local farmers’ market occurs every Saturday and Sunday at Deedo and ends at 10.00. They usually have trucks and fresh products. We also have a night of trucks in the north and the center of the island. If you see a lot of trucks, find a parking space and make sure you have cash because credit cards are generally not accepted.
Travel Hints: Most places receive credit or debit cards, but other small businesses only accept effectively. Be sure to have cash when you visit Guam.
Renting a car is necessary and I recommend Airbnb somewhere at the southern end of the island, such as Agat or Merizo. But if you like luxury, they are a place to be. Tup and Tamuning are a place where most tourists remain and where there are shops and restaurants.
The southern part is more relaxed and full of nature. I’m not sure if you would stay any specific Airbnbs or hotels because it never stays because every day is a mini vacation in Guam. So I’ll leave you!
