Although it is under the tourism radar, there are many good places to see in Maryland. Maryland’s nickname is “America in Small” because of its diverse landscape and culture. From the busiest areas in the country to remote cities, the “Border Line” has a lot to offer. I lived all my life in Maryland and I want to tell you, if you are going to visit, what are some good places to see in Maryland.

Many travel blogs and so on in Maryland and honestly, locals, my friends and I will give them a list of many places. They just for too much or special interests. Not There are some good and fresh places to see here but something is a little smaller to mention – that’s why I have collected a list of places you need to see. It doesn’t matter who you are, these are people’s big places.
Places For A Family Vacation In Maryland
I love Annapolis and when people visit, people are currently very surprised. Many people have not even heard about the city of Maryland, but I assure you, at least worthy of a short visit.
Annapolis is a local city rather than a tourist, so there is not much to “” “in the methods of museums or attractions. But still it is a wonderful charming city that is going around. You want to go to the old city that revolves around the state ring and the church ring and the branches of the outside, such as West Street and Main Street. There are many local restaurants and small shops in the area. If you go down the main road, you will see a sweet port.
I do not care especially to share the restaurant recommendations because I was not everywhere, but I was in a good part of the places in Annapolis. Chuck & Ruth’s Daily is a local place and Cafe Normandi is the best basis. You can stop for lunch at the old hotel in Reynolds and then go for some dessert (this is a chain but also a personal favorite). There are many ice cream shops around them but these are all good options. If you have a dog, you can also get some ice cream in salted feet.
Whether you spend all day here or a few hours, you are sure you will enjoy this beautiful city.

The state’s largest city in Baltimore. This is the only place in Maryland where I considered the “city” and there is a lot of attention. I said more and again, and I would say once again, the thing with Baltimore is that there are people who fly internal tourists, which is very baseless. Most of the city’s taste is just a few short blocks in other areas.
A good of Baltimore. For a tour, I would say that you should stop the areas of Federal Hill, Felus Point, Canton, Mount Vernon and Hampaden. If you are limited on time, the Philus Point is usually the place where the neighborhood wants to go. It is the beautiful historical center of the city, which is complete with the Kobble Stone streets. I am also very part of the Federal Hill, which is completely historical and has beautiful views of the inner port.
There are many things to do in Baltimore (I have also made a list) that all depends on what your interests are. If you have only one day and I didn’t believe what I do, I would say that you would visit the Walters Art Museum. It is a world -class and completely free art museum, as well as a beautiful area of Mount Vernon. The Baltimore aquarium is a popular going to go, but it is quite expensive and not everyone loves the aquarium.
Whatever you do in Baltimore, you have to try food. We have signature crab cakes but you can get good VE wagon shrimp cakes in the kitchen, navigan (my fue) and Doda kitchen. Otherwise, we have a large type of amazing restaurant that has all kinds of prices. I didn’t have as much as I want, so I can’t preserve “definitely” recommendations, but it is difficult to get wrong in eating in Baltimore.

There are plenty of places to see the incredibly sweet east coast, but for the list I made a choice that I am enjoying many locals: Eston. Fortunately it is one of the easiest places to go to the beach bridge.
Eston is a small town and, like, there is no ton to tin here. However, the area is submerged with the story, especially its former resident, elimination expert Frederick Diglass. You can visit a self -guidance around the city to find out about history and construction. For more modern times, Eston has a beautiful choice of places to eat and buy. You will find many antiques shops here and prices will be different.
If you want to feel about the story and life of a small town, Eston is a great place to see in Maryland.

Frederick is one of my favorite places to see here. It is believed that Frederick is the second city in Maryland, but actually A looks like a big city.
Like the aforementioned Estone, Frederick is a place where people do not live at all. However, it is full of amazing local businesses where you can cut food for food or buy for something new. One of my favorite places where I ever go to buy antiquities is the antiquities of the Impurium because it is a market for dozens of old sellers. Here you can get a good choice of commodities, but also a good choice of prices. Some are so funny that they can leave your jaw.
You can also learn that Frederick is called Maryland’s most generous city. I argue that Baltimore has more ghosts, but I will give them a step. If you want to know about the city’s most proportional history, you can take the past tour.

But still spend your time, Frederick is definitely able to stop. This is a very beautiful place and a huge choice of food to choose from it. I would like to stay close because I have spent a lot of time here.
The most unique place in Maryland is Steag Island, far from Ocean City. Not only an escort on the beautiful coast of the Atlantic, but it is known for something unique: wild horses. They are in fact Pony, called Chenot Egg Pony, and there are a unique race in the area.
In the stag, they roam free. You should not be close to them but you can definitely appreciate their greatness and honestly, in my partner experience, many times have been contacted. Regardless of who you are, this is a great way to spend a day, and good for children. This is definitely one of the most unique places to see in Maryland if not in the whole country.
Ocean City certainly takes the cake as a famous location to see in Maryland, if not most popular. There is a lot to do here that I personally think that this is always a good time.

Stretching for Ocean City is a huge beach that is completely free! Yes Parking can be a huge pain, but if you live with parking at a nearby hotel you all have to enjoy the beach free mail along the Atlantic coast. There is also Ocean Cityboard Walk that is always nice to walk along. My favorite things I do are Julie Roger’s entertainment parks (two in this area) and mini golfing. Money golfing and ice cream is something you do in a good summer night in Ocean City. There are many places to eat, mostly chains, but the place that goes is domestic milk. Unfortunately, they are not easy for vegetarians.
Ocean City is a entertainment destination but definitely not like any other place in Maryland. I will be honest, this is a holiday party. But it is still in a place that keep in mind and one of the most famous places.
This list is not complete places to look at in any way, but there is a list of places where most people want to visit if they want to visit. Thus, “necessary” places to go to Maryland. There are many small cities and national parks that have not made this list, but I write about them at a different blog location.
